In the latest episode of the soap opera that is Tiger Woods' life, Woods fired Steve Williams, his long-time caddy, after twelve years of loyal service. It begs one to ask "When will this horror movie end?".
No time soon, I believe.
As Tiger continues to play inconsistent golf, back out of majors and fire his coach and caddie, his American fans will continue to dwell on what could have been. Some are looking to find a replacement for Tiger, someone who can come in and fill the gap left by the world's greatest golfer. Can Phil Mickelson provide that? Doubtful. Dustin Johnson? Probably not.
In the end there is only one man who can bring back the excitement of golf to the American people. So from one golfer to another, please wake up Tiger.
